It appears that one of the aggregators (Netvibes, you got it!) which regularly polls your feed reported more than 50,000 subscribers in yesterday's results. One of the ways we determine total subscriptions for a day is by summing the number of subscribers that web-based aggregators report to us when they request your feed. Obviously, when one of these reports is well out of line, the numbers we report to you will reflect it.
We are contacting this aggregator's developer about this issue and hope to have it resolved promptly. Our apologies for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience -- we know you take your stats seriously, and so do we!
